Original controller-family description

The DS5 PLUS is an indoor control module that can be used with the Natcomm DP2 door phone and has a FXS analog line port for phone system connection.  This allows the DS5 to be connected as a PBX extension, to a modem or router with phone extension port, or to an Analog Telephone Adaptor (ATA).

The unit will signal an off-hook state when a visitor presses the door phone call button. After answering the call, the keypad of a connected phone can be used to allow gate or door entry by operating a relay contact within the DS5. When the call ends, the DS5 hang-up detector ends the call to the door phone.
